Who qualifies for TMS?

TMS is indicated for individuals presenting with a primary diagnosis of major depressive disorder (MDD) or obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and who have tried a minimum of two antidepressant medications without significant improvement. It has also been found to be effective in treating MDD with anxious distress. We have successfully treated adolescents with TMS, working with families and insurance companies to authorize treatment when medically appropriate.
